After doing chemical engineering, fresher should join short term course of process design. In this course, students are given training at industry level, so we call the trainer from the industry whose experience is at least 15 years. We learn to do sizing and selection of the process equipment that is installed in the industry like: Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Separator, Control Valve, Safety Valve, Distillation Column, Pump, Compressor and others. Apart from this, we learn basic engineering, detail engineering and process simulation. A new batch starts every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at the Petromech Institute. The course duration is about 4 months. After training, students are given certificates that will be valid in the whole world.
